Cromer Expansion

Three simultaneous projects were operated in Cromer, Manitoba, under the Construction Framework Agreement (CFA). The projects included the Tank Capacity Expansion, the Mainline Booster Pump Expansion, and the Line 2 Transient Mitigation project – all within the existing, operating pipeline facility. The Tank Capacity Expansion involved constructing two tanks and supporting infrastructure. The Mainline Booster Pump Expansion project required expansion work at two pipeline manifolds and a 24 inch (61 cm) rack pipeline. The Line 2 Transient Mitigation project was one in a series of projects along Enbridge’s mainline all designed to increase pipeline flow capacity by providing better over-pressure protection.
